Aardvark Interactive Studios, a provider of video production and multimedia solutions, recently completed a project for the South Carolina Silver Crescent Award for Manufacturing Excellence program. This is the third consecutive year that Aardvark has been involved with the awards program. Aardvark worked with the winning manufacturing companies to develop videos highlighting the companies’ accomplishments that earned them the Silver Crescent Award.

Aardvark’s team of video professionals conducted video shoots at the three winning companies’ facilities, edited and produced the final two-minute videos, and composed the Power Point presentation for the Salute to Manufacturing Luncheon event.

“The Aardvark team does an excellent job for us, and the visual presentation they have put together this year will certainly impress the 800 attendees,” commented Tony Smith, president of TEC, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting manufacturing in South Carolina. “The videos are an important part of our Salute to Manufacturing Luncheon in acknowledging and honoring our three Silver Crescent Award winners.”

Established in 2002 by Tony Smith, the South Carolina Silver Crescent Award for Manufacturing Excellence recognizes excellent manufacturers in our state as demonstrated through their economic impact, commitment to the workforce, and involvement and contributions to their communities. The honor is awarded annually to one manufacturer in each of three categories: small (up to 100 employees), medium (101-499 employees) and large (500 or more employees).

This year’s Silver Crescent Awards will be presented at the annual Salute to Manufacturing Luncheon on May 26, 2005 at the Palmetto Expo Center. The luncheon is held in conjunction with the Advanced Manufacturing & Productivity Exposition and Conference in Greenville each spring.
