AARDVARK COMPLETES WEBSITE PROJECT FOR THE GROVE

GREENVILLE, SC – JANUARY 3, 2006 – Aardvark Interactive Studios, a provider of video production and multimedia solutions, recently completed a website project for The Grove, apartment communities developed specifically for college students as an alternative to student housing. Teaming up with Woodward & Zwolinski Advertising, Aardvark applied its multimedia skills to develop a flash intro, video tours of the apartment communities and video clips of student interviews to feature on the website (www.gogrove.com).

“We are absolutely thrilled with The Grove website developed by Woodward & Zwolinski and Aardvark Interactive Studios,” said Megan Longley, President of Crest Campus Developments. “In addition to its comprehensive contents and compelling graphics, the streaming video presentations and other multimedia effects make the site spectacular and an effective sales and marketing tool for us.” Campus Crest is a Greensboro NC-based firm dedicated to providing the best student housing in the industry.

Aardvark developed a high-energy, colorful and engaging flash intro to appeal to The Grove’s young target audience. In addition, Aardvark shot and edited student interviews to feature throughout the site, offering personal testimonials to The Grove’s apartment communities and the benefits they offer college students. With the website being key to The Grove’s sales and marketing efforts, especially for those communities still in development, it was important that the elements of the site brought the communities to life and provided prospective students and parents with an in-depth look at all of the amenities and benefits to living at The Grove.

“We wanted the website to reinforce The Grove brand among prospective college students and initiate contact with interested students through online efforts, and it’s working,” Longley commented. “The site has been instrumental in our efforts and, in fact, more than half of the initial applications were received through the website.”

The Grove has one community completed and at full capacity with over 300 students in Asheville, NC, and three currently under construction slated to open in Fall 2006 in Milledgeville, GA, Carrollton, GA, and Las Cruces, NM. The Grove in Milledgeville, GA sold out in seven weeks during its pre-leasing phase with over 400 applications and deposits received, and the other two are pre-leasing as well. “We attribute this success to the power of web imaging,” Longley said. The Grove has plans for six additional properties for Fall 2007.
